Olsen family photo session

The Olson family graciously chose me again as their photographer for their Christmas card images. I had a great time working with them and their "other son", Max.

Ralston family photo session

I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and Mitch Ralston today to photograph their beautiful family. Despite the 35 degree temperature and sub-freezing wind chill, the session went splendidly.

When working with children on location, especially in less-than-ideal conditions, it is crucial to know your selected site well, its lighting at the scheduled time of day, formulate poses in advance, and most importantly, work quickly!

Here are a few images for your perusal.

Zach's senior photos

I recently spent a couple hours with Zach, the youngest son in a family that have been clients and friends for years. We had fun re-creating one of his older brother's poses at his mother's request, and moved on to a unique setting.

Unique settings should be chosen for each senior because no two are alike. Call or email today to plan your senior photo session. Share with friends and family on Facebook or other social media with our easy share buttons.

Gainesville High School multi-year reunion 6-12-2010

The Gainesville "Red Elephants" High School multi-year reunion on June 12, 2010 at the Gainesville, Georgia Civic Center was spectacular. Guests entering the center passed by a display of four 1960's era cars, restored to showroom condition: 1966 Cadillac convertible, 1965 Pontiac GTO, late 1960's VW Bus, and a 1969 Ford Mach 1 Mustang. After checking-in, the alumnae went to the 2nd floor where dozens of balloons, white linen-draped tables with beautiful red centerpieces, and the stellar band The Jesters performed. GHS classmates from the late 1940's to the 1970's joined together to share memories and fill-in the the details of their lives that they had experienced in the many years since they had last seen one another.

The reunion planning committee and volunteers did a fantastic job of decorating the Civic Center with red and white balloons, class memorabilia in all the reception rooms, classic auto display, delicious foods of all types, and the one "must-have" on the committee's wish list for the reunion party: The Jesters.

Here are the images I captured June 12th at the Civic Center. Please be patient as I am posting 270+ images 5 at-a-time: posting them here will allow you to copy them for your personal use at no charge. As of June 17th at 1:00 p.m., I have posted all the images I have of the event.
